Or as long, in-depth Poppy project that will take upwards of a week to complete. I often spend a period working on the Poppy picture creating a beautiful detailed multimedia painting. These are great to work on shading details in poppies…tones and tints of red. I love adding texture to the poppies with the use of tissue paper. Then we will spend a period tracing a Poppy Poem and colouring in the boarder. With other grades, we will compose our own poems about Poppies and Remembrance Day. Then another block putting the project together. With older grade it will not take near as long…I teach Kindergarten right now.
